Who's getting started?
A RentPod account belongs to a property manager or landlord. Their team joins by invite, and tenants don't need an account.
Property manager or landlord
You're setting RentPod up for your own properties or your company.
- 1Create your account and confirm your email address.
- 2Set up your organisation: its name, address and contact details. Practise in test mode first if you like.
- 3Choose the plan for your portfolio size and pay by M-Pesa. See plans
Already have an account? Sign in
Team member
You work for a property manager, as staff, an accountant or a caretaker.
Don't create a new organisation. Your admin adds you to theirs.
- 1Ask your organisation's admin to invite you from Settings → Team.
- 2Open the link in the invite email and create your account with the same email address. You'll join with the access your admin chose.
- 3After that, sign in any time.
Invites expire after 7 days. If yours has, ask your admin to send a new one.
Tenant
You rent a home or space from a RentPod property manager.
You don't need an account. Your property manager adds you to RentPod and stays in touch with you directly.
- Invoices, receipts and statements arrive by SMS, WhatsApp or email
- Report a repair by messaging your property manager's WhatsApp number
- Pay rent to their M-Pesa paybill or till as usual
Haven't heard from them? Contact your property manager or landlord directly. RentPod can't share tenant details or change your account.
